Our podcast gives motherless mothers a space to be heard — and helps others understand the realities of maternal loss. We’re looking for a creative, detail‑oriented Podcast Editing Volunteer to help bring these conversations to life.
Working closely with our team, you’ll transform recorded discussions into polished, engaging episodes ready to share with our growing audience. If you enjoy audio or video editing and want to use your skills for a meaningful cause, this role is a brilliant fit.
What you’ll do
Edit podcast recordings in Riverside to create professional, engaging episodes
Remove mistakes, pauses, background noise, and unnecessary sections while keeping the natural flow
Ensure consistent audio quality across episodes
Upload completed episodes to Apple Podcasts and Spotify (via Riverside)
Create short video clips for promotional use
Upload full video episodes to YouTube
Prepare clips in the correct format for Instagram and other social channels
Organise and manage episode files so content is easy to access
What you’ll bring
Experience editing podcasts, audio, or video (personal or professional)
Confidence using — or willingness to learn — Riverside
A good eye for pacing, storytelling, and flow
Strong organisation and reliability
Attention to detail
A passion for supporting a charity making a difference in women’s lives
Desirable skills
Experience with podcast publishing platforms
Basic understanding of YouTube and Instagram video requirements
Knowledge of social media content creation
Experience editing content for online audiences
Time commitment
Bi‑weekly — editing two episodes per month.
