Safeguarding
Our Commitment
At TheMotherless Mothers, the safety and wellbeing of everyone who engages with our charity is our highest priority.
We are committed to creating a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment where all individuals are treated with dignity, respect, and compassion. We believe everyone has the right to feel safe, be heard, and receive support without fear of judgment.
Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility, and we take all concerns seriously.
What is Safeguarding?
Safeguarding means protecting children, young people, and adults who may be vulnerable from abuse, neglect, exploitation, or harm. It also means promoting their well-being and ensuring they are treated with kindness, fairness, and respect.
When Should I Raise a Concern?
Please contact us if you are worried about:
The safety or well-being of a child, young person, or adult at risk.
Inappropriate behavior by a volunteer, trustee, staff member, or anyone representing The Motherless Mothers.
Bullying, harassment, discrimination, or abuse.
Someone who may be at risk of harm or exploitation.
Any behavior that makes you or someone else feel unsafe.
Any safeguarding concern, no matter how small it may seem.
If you're unsure whether something is a safeguarding concern, we would always encourage you to speak to us.
