Transforming festive loneliness into joy
Join TMM community member Jo Gibson for an honest and uplifting conversation on Tuesday 16th December 2pm–3pm, as she shares her journey of transforming festive loneliness into joy.
Drawing from her own experience as a single motherless mother (due to estrangement), Jo knows that Christmas rarely looks like the movies, and that’s perfectly okay.
After years of feeling left out of the 'picture-perfect’ celebrations, Jo learned to embrace her own traditions, from Japanese food and solo film nights to creative DIY projects and rediscovering her love for pottery.
She’ll discuss how reframing loneliness as 'me time' can be empowering, and why it’s important not to believe the myths we see on social media.
Jo’s story is a reminder that being alone doesn’t mean being lonely, and that self-care, hobbies, and small connections can bring real happiness.
Don’t miss this chance to explore new ways to find joy and connection during the festive season.
Sign up for Jo’s reframing loneliness workshop taking place online on 16th December from 2-3pm UK time.
The workshop is free of charge.
