When You’re Not in Crisis

You don’t have to wait until you’re in crisis to reach out for support. There are many ways to get help, connect with others, and gently care for yourself.

  • Talk to Someone

  • Your GP / primary care provider can offer referrals for counselling, therapy, or specialist support.

  • Counsellors & Therapists – especially those experienced in grief, bereavement, or family estrangement.

  • Support groups – connecting with others who “get it” can make grief feel less isolating.

  • Connect with community.

  • Join our monthly drop-ins (general and estrangement-focused) — free, informal spaces to share and listen.

  • Attend our workshops for deeper exploration and tools.

  • Find online spaces like our WhatsApp groups or trusted grief/estrangement communities

A Note on Resources- We share links and recommendations for support services, articles, and organisations in good faith, because we know how valuable it can be to find the right help. However, please note: we do not formally vet, endorse, or take responsibility for external services or resources. Everyone’s journey is different — what feels supportive for one person may not feel right for another. We encourage you to use your own judgement, and if needed, seek professional advice before engaging with any service or resource listed here. Above all, please take care of yourself and choose what feels safe and supportive for you.
